Hello! My name is Julie, and this is my girl, Bailey. I’ve been with Dog Training in Your Home since 2004 and have loved every minute of it! Being able to help so many families reach their training goals has been a fantastic experience. I have met so many wonderful people and dogs that sometimes it’s hard to say good-bye at the end of the lessons! There has been more than one occasion where the owners will tell the dog "Julie’s here!" and you can see the dog get excited! That always brings a smile to my face because I know the dog AND the owners are happy to see me and we’re going to have a great lesson. It is especially rewarding when I can make a shy dog happier to be around people or a rescued dog more comfortable in its new home. You can’t beat the feeling of knowing that you’ve stopped a dog from going to or going back to the pound.

Being able to help families come together and enjoy their dog is the most rewarding part of this job for me, and I couldn’t think of anything I’d rather be doing. Tensions can run high with housebreaking issues, jumping on the kids, play-biting, and all the other normal issues that families can get frustrated with. When I can bring everyone together and they can have fun with their dog, things get better all around. Hope I’ll be seeing you and your dog soon!
